Parent Power

PositiveParenting is the best intervention always, I have completed a small study on the impact that a positive parent has on the child in school, result provide evidence for the biggest drop in negative behaviour I have seen over many years. Parents sometimes believe that they have no impact on a child’s behaviour after years of being exhausted by your child. But trust me you are the best person and have a greater chance of changing your child’s behaviour than anyone. It’s not going to happen over night it’s going to be hard, especially when trying to change norms that have been consistent for years.  Getting to the cause of behavioural problems is a process of elimination, first question to be addressed is; has anything changed in your life at the same time the behaviour started; when does it happen, look into a specific part of the day; could it be diet related.
