The opposite end of the spectrum; these are children that don’t like change at all, there will be no honeymoon period for these children in school. From day one they will be pulling on the heart strings of moms saying “they hate school and the teacher”, telling parent that they are having the worst possible time having no friends, crying on the way to school clinging to your arm as you walk them to the dreaded classroom, you as parent attempting to peel your child from off your arms as they hold on tighter, cries get louder as you get closer to the point of no return. From the parents perspective feeling of why is it just my child doing this, am I doing something wrong, the answer to this is ‘no’ there are numerous amounts of children like this. Nine times out of ten while you are sitting at home/work worrying continuously about your child all day, they are fully settled in class and during breaks playing and laughing with their friends at school. When the bell goes for home time, they prepare their sad face for you to observe as they walk out of school, plucking up courage to ask the dreaded question, had a good day at school? Your child slowly shares with you the horrors that have happen to them during the day, mentally preparing you emotionally for the next morning and the struggle to get them into school.
